Goose and Mallard Resting Birds Crochet Pattern Bundle
Crochet two adorable resting waterfowl with this DIGITAL PDF amigurumi crochet pattern bundle featuring a Goose and a Mallard. This listing is for a downloadable pattern only—you will not receive a finished plush. Designed in a flat-belly, stretched resting pose, each bird works up as an elongated, cuddly shape with small wings and a simple tail.
What’s included in the bundle (2 patterns):
- Goose — white resting goose with a bright orange beak (approx. 19–22 cm / 7.5–8.75 in long)
- Mallard — deep green head, light cream body, soft beige wings, light brown tail, muted mustard beak (approx. 18–21 cm / 7–8.25 in long)
Skill level: Beginner. The patterns use US crochet terminology and are worked in continuous rounds unless otherwise stated. You’ll use a stitch marker to track rounds, and the belly is intentionally kept slightly flattened to create the resting pose.
Finished size: Each bird is approximately 18–22 cm (7–8.75 in) long. Estimated time: about 5–7 hours for both birds.
Materials (for both designs): worsted weight (4) acrylic or cotton blend yarn in white, light cream, deep green, soft beige, light brown, bright orange, muted mustard, plus black for embroidery; 3.5 mm hook; stitch marker; tapestry needle; polyester fiberfill; scissors; and 10 mm safety eyes (2 pairs).
Safety note: Safety eyes are a choking hazard and are not recommended for children under 3. For baby-safe makes, use embroidered eyes instead.
